I barely slept that night and this morning we kinda overslept. But we did make it in time. We drove to Sanur beach and from there we went by boat. But there was no real harbour. We had to walk through the water to thex boat, which wasn't my greatest worry since I had my suitcase (about 20 kilos) lifted by a man who also carried another big one, and he was holding mine only by the handle I was so afraid that it would rip off!
When we made it into the boat it was about a 40 min drive with a great view of the mountains. We arrived in crystal clear light blue water and an almost white beach. It was stunning.
The drive to the accommodation was about 5 minutes. It doesn't have the high standards of Ubud but if there is a shower and a fan then I'm fine (I won't be fine on Java).
We went to feed the turtles, they have about 300 baby turtles and maybe 50 young adults? They are so cute! We had to lift the young adults into a bucket to feed them (otherwise the whole tank is dirty) and then fed them fish. (I actually didn't mind touching the fish organs, I should be a surgeon).
After the feeding we went to the beach, it's such a nice beach! And swimming was so refreshing!
When we went back to the beach in the evening we could see all the seaweed farms, really cool!
So tomorrow we have to teach, I don't know what to expect.
Goodnight!
